Family Montessori offers several programs for children aged 3-6. We offer 3 days, 4 days or 5 days per week with Kindergarteners required to attend 5 days. The 3 days week is offered to our youngest age group. Any age may attend 5 days week. The 3 days program is for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The 4 days program is on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
We encourage families of children of all ages to consider enrolling for all five days, as those students generally benefit from this schedule.
It is important that families interested in enrolling their child look at our program as a three-year cycle with the Kindergarten year as a cumulative part of your child’s education. It is in this third year that the benefits gained in the previous two years come to fruition and the work pays off in leaps and bounds.
Family Montessori’s academic calendar begins the day after Labor Day and runs until right before Memorial Day. We have typical holiday breaks throughout the school year and a few teacher works days. The detailed calendar for each year will be available at the Parent Night before school begins.
Our class begins at 9:00 with parents dropping their children off through a very convenient car line. We begin our day with a short morning meeting to greet one another, then have a 2 1/2 work time for the children to work. We end with a story time and song time. The children then play outside until car line begins at 12:00 to go home.
We are fortunate to be able to walk to the Lebanon Public Library once a month for story time with Ms. Connie LaVallee. The children can also check books out and bring them back to school. We have intermittent short field days to play at Harmon Park where we have access to swings and a climbing set. We also schedule 2-3 Family Field Trips per calendar year.
The tuition schedule is listed below. We believe that Montessori education should be available for all families, therefore we offer a Financial Assistance Program for qualifying families. A discount for siblings is also given. (Tuition is subject to change.)
